VINATech is operating an affiliated research institute that develops super capacitor single cells and modules, and a materials research institute that develops nano-composite technologies. The affiliated research institute is composed of the advanced development team, mass production development team and module development team (19 employees), and the materials research institute is composed of the fuel cell team and environmental materials team (7 employees). The affiliated research institute is developing an energy storage system to reduce the energy consumption of elevating devices in the regenerative energy sector, and hybrid super capacitors for mirror tracking in the solar energy field, and micro energy storage media for backup power in the small smart device area.
