Since the beginning of the electrical power industry, many companies have designed and patented apparatus and methods to suppress contact arcing.Our Chief Technology Officer began his career in the power industry and has been fascinated by the mechanisms of arcing for many years. While he has created application specific contact arc suppression products in use today; he was discontent with existing solutions and felt it could be done better.
